Apply Now: Summer Camp 2023 Internship Opportunity!

INTERNSHIP DATES: Wednesday June 21st-Friday June 23rd (prep days) /
Monday June 26th - Friday July 21st (summer camps)
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
LOCATION: Marsh Harbour
This is a PAID internship opportunity that includes activities such as swimming, snorkeling, hiking, construction, and gardening, outside of normal office work. Summer camp responsibilities would include:

Assisting with planning and presentation of classroom lessons

Facilitating and participating in daily field trips to Abaco ecosystems, including mangroves, coral reefs, pine forest, sea grass beds and more

After camp chores, including setting up for the next day and tidying up camp space.

Engaging children ages 3-16 in hands-on experiential activities.

Leading icebreakers and break time activities
*Note: We offer only 1-2 paid internships for Bahamian students. Other positions may be available but are unpaid.
Intern Qualifications
1.
Must be 18 or older and be a Bahamian citizen or permanent resident (male or female).
2.
Bahamian government issued identification (NIB card, drivers license or passport)
3.
Ability to swim and be comfortable in the water required.
4.
Name and contact for two references (e.g. past teacher, previous employer, community leader)
5.
Be hardworking with a desire to learn!
