Sustainable Job Training Opportunities

After experiencing Hurricane Dorian and the challenges that have arisen because of it, FRIENDS realized the importance of building on-island capacity in sustainable fields that can support the recovery of our island and its economy. Thanks to support from UNDP GEF SGP, FRIENDS is able to launch a pilot training program in solar power. The opportunity is open to Abaco residents who have recently graduated high school (within five years). The successful applicants will join our contractors, Engineered Electric Services, as they work to assist FRIENDS repair and replace our 15kW solar array that was damaged by Hurricane Dorian.
