Calling All Young Environmentalists: Earth Day Video and Poster Competition!

Every year, Earth Day serves as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and preserve our planet. As we approach Earth Day this year, there's an exciting opportunity here at FRIENDS for young minds to showcase their creativity and passion for environmental sustainability. Our video competition for high school students and a captivating poster competition for primary school students have begun, all centred around this year’s Earth Day theme: "Plastics vs Planet."

The theme of "Plastics vs Planet" shines a light on the critical environmental issue of plastic pollution and its detrimental impact on Earth's ecosystems. Plastic pollution poses a significant threat to marine life, terrestrial habitats, and human health. With this theme, participants are encouraged to explore the relationship between plastics and the planet, highlighting the urgency of adopting sustainable practices to mitigate the adverse effects of plastic pollution.
