About FRIENDS

FRIENDS is the only local non profit environmental organization devoted to preserving Abaco's fragile environment and working towards a more sustainable future. To this end the dedicated full time staff, board of directors, local and visiting volunteers and donors work together to provide educational opportunities and programs to benefit Abaco's delicate environment.

The Frank Kenyon Centre for Research, Education, and Conservation is a new extension of Friends of the Environment. The Kenyon Centre aims to support continuing education in the sciences, further research and natural resource management on Abaco, and promote sustainable building practices.
