![]() | ||||||
The Abaco National Park is located in the southern portion of Great Abaco Island in the Abacos of the Bahamas between Hole In The Wall and Crossing Rocks. The Park is 20,500 acres set aside by the Bahamas National Trust (BNT) to preserve the existence of the Abaco Bahama Parrot and many other important species that resided within the Park area. The Park also preserves a large portion of Abaco's water table, protecting her limited fresh water reserves. The Abaco National Park can be reached by travel south by car out of Marsh Harbour towards Sandy Point. The park is rich in biodiversity, offering hiking, and bird-watching.. Since it is a protected area, care of fauna and flora when visiting the park is expected. It is a rustic area with no services- | ||
