Sportfishing Regulations FAQ: For purposes of this law, “sportfishing” is basically non-commercial (recreational) fishing by non-Bahamians in a foreign licensed boat. Sportfishing permits are not required if you are renting a Bahamian boat, however the same bag limits apply.
