Moorings Update - December 2006 | ||

Karl Syfrett, Joe Santamaria, Austin Syfrett and Jeff (?) spend the week of Dec 2 - 9, 2006 in Abaco doing maintenance on the moorings at Fowl Cay, Sandy Cay and Mermaid Reef. Though they had high winds and seas most of the week, they were still able to replace all of the moorings at Sandy Cay, and repair and replace what needed work at Mermaid Reef and Fowl Cay. | ||||

Sandy Cay is now sporting all new inflatable orange buoys that can be seen from miles away! The new inflatable buoys inflate around the rope, hopefully causing less chaffing. We are now ready for the 2007 tourism season. | |||||||||

Through out the year, the moorings at Fowl Cay are maintained by Dive Guana and Froggies Out Island Adventures and the moorings at Sandy Cay / Pelican Cay Land and Sea Park are maintained by Froggies Out Island Adventures and Mark & Patty Gonzalves from Lubber's Quarters.
