Abaco’s environment is precious: it contributes to our way of life and it attracts visitors to our islands. Our environment is relatively healthy compared to other countries, yet it sits in a delicate balance. More education is needed to raise awareness and instill pride in the next generation of young Bahamians as future decision makers. Your membership will directly contribute to education, awareness and conservation programs in Abaco.
Friends of the Environment is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, as such all donations made by US Citizens are tax deductible. It is also Not For Profit Company Incorporated under the Companies Act of 1992, of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
